I enjoy working at Sutterfield because when you truly love what you do, it is not work.  I am so blessed to be able to meet and work with so many great people.  My passion is to have a real impact on those we work with whether that is creating a path to help someone retire, pass the family farm to the next generation or impact the bottom line of the business by saving a significant amount of taxes.  My goal is to utilize my God given talents to the absolute best of my ability while delivering plus 1 to our relationships.  It is a true joy that I get to do every day – my cup is always full!

My areas of expertise at SFG include having a very high level of comfort in dealing with complex and advanced financial planning.  I am never afraid to take on a new challenge, rather I strive on taking a multi-disciplined approach to meeting and exceeding the client’s goals of the plan.  My expertise extends over every division that SFG has.

Boards and Committees served on: Board of Directors, Investment Committee, and Finance Committee

When I’m not at work, you can find me on my big green tractor haying our land, building various things in one of my workshops, working on projects around my house and land, enjoying a round of golf with friends, or relaxing with Shelly and Zowie at our home.

Interesting Facts:

I was able to hide my colorblindness until I failed a test to enter the USMC (the labels on the crayons were my secret). In my world, everything has a system and a process, which includes the appropriate number of paper towels when you wash your hands (the correct answer is 3 by the way) to not eating popcorn at a movie until it officially starts (which is after the first spoken lines of the film – most people make the mistake of eating their snacks during the previews).
