When Trevor and I started SFG, it was just the two of us. As we grew, we hired people with the skills to fill certain jobs and I naturally landed in the accounts receivable/accounts payable area. I’m not a very outgoing person, so being behind the scenes suits my personality best.
I enjoy working at Sutterfield because it’s my baby. Trevor and I built this company and I enjoy seeing it grow and flourish. I enjoy being around our employees aka my “kids.” They have become part of our family, so their lives are very important to me.
My areas of expertise at SFG include accounts receivable/payable, human resources, and tending to the “kids'” various needs.
When I’m not at work, you will find me maintaining our farm. In the summer that means tending our vegetable garden, picking blackberries, or mowing. I also enjoy researching my family tree and can spend hours online pilfering through scanned documents and books looking for that juicy tidbit of information or missing puzzle piece.
Interesting Fact:
Our dog Kenzie loves to spend time at our office! It is always fun having a wired Weim running around the office!
